A restrained, even brooding nose of spice, violets, plum and black cherry is trimmed in a bit of wood. There is a wonderfully vibrant mouth feel to the detailed and intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that brim with dry extract on the dusty, intense, long and very serious finish. This is an exceptionally pretty but firmly structured effort so note well that plenty of time will be required for it to realize its full, and considerable, potential.
