A dense nose combines notes of essence of pear and white peach with an array of floral and spice scents. There is more muscle to the intense big-bodied flavors that possess a highly textured palate feel before terminating in a beautifully complex and persistent finish. This is bigger if a bit less refined than the Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and I like both but for different reasons. Note that this too should age effortlessly.
