Buy Wine Ch. Palmer
4 Decades of Palmer
1st Growth Chateau Margaux has long dominated the appellation which bears the same name but there is another chateau which can challenge and dare I say, even outperform on occasion. British Major General Charles Palmer acquired the estate in 1814 and proceeded to use his legendary charms popularise his wine amongst the great and good of English society. That British affinity with Palmer's wines lives on today, although Palmer's fast living lifestyle necessitated its sale in 1843. Today, vintages of Palmer regularly trade for half the value of Ch. Margaux and yet receive comparable reviews from the critics. Take a look at the terrific examples we can offer.
