Bodegas La Horra, Ribera del Duero
In 1999, Bodegas Roda decided to expand outside their home in Rioja, they undertook extensive research in order to locate another site where they could produce Tempranillo to their exacting standards. The resulting project is situated in the La Horra area of Ribera del Duero. La Horra has a history of vine cultivation which predates Roman times. The vines used to produce La Horra's Corimbo I are on average 40 years old and produces wines of impressive concentration and freshness. The first vintage to be released was the 2008.
