2007 Clerget, Vougeot Petits Vougeots, 12x750ml

This is aromatically less elegant but the complexity of a good premier cru is on display as this is notably deeper with a pungent nose of dark berry fruit that has a certain underlying animale character to it that complements rich, round and sappy flavors that possess excellent volume and punch on the balanced finish. Good quality here and worth a look if your taste runs to Vougeot.
