An exceptionally fresh and bright nose of red berry fruit and wet stone that is completely different from the Chambertin. The medium-bodied flavors that tautly muscled and moderately powerful and while this also displays a certain minerality, it's not nearly as overt as in the Chambertin. I like the quality of the tannins here as they're firm but sophisticated with no rusticity on the harmonious finish that is poised and calm. The word Zen comes to mind.
