Drinking Dates: Now-2033
The 2010 Chateau Musar has a deep garnet colour. Intense aromas of plum skins, violets, fruitcake, and beeswax combine to form a complex bouquet. The palate is unmistakably Musar, yet uncharacteristically ripe and succulent. Juicy and full-bodied, with supple tannins and balancing acidity. Black cherry and plum flavours dominate the mid-palate, with a subtle lift of blood orange and a hint of cinnamon on the finish. This is a sensual Musar which delivers immediate gratification but should equally reward cellaring for 10-15 years further. The 2010 vintage of Musar is destined to be one of the rarest to be released, since heatwave conditions during the growing season resulted in a reduction by 45% of the Cabernet Sauvignon crop.
Ch Musar, 2010, 3x1.5ltr
The Bekaa Valley experienced an intense heatwave in 2010 and the resulting harvest was drastically reduced. We have a fraction of our usual allocation to offer so if you'd like some, please don't delay. It could become quite collectible in future as Musar collectors won't want it to be missing from their verticals.
N.B. Musar is only releasing Duty Paid stock and will no longer sell Under Bond.
