A discreet if not invisible touch of wood frames the ripe aromas of pear, apple, green tea and white flower scents. There is impressive richness and muscle to the large-scaled flavors that display plenty of minerality onto the very generous but not heavy finish thanks to the firm acid spine that maintains the balance. This should be approachable young but reward up to a decade of cellaring.
