Soft wood and menthol nuances surround the elegant floral and airy essence of red berry fruit liqueur and spice suffused aromas that are tinged with discreet green tea wisps. There is a sophisticated mouth feel to the appealingly textured, intense and focused middle weight flavors that display plenty of minerality that serves to add lift to the overtly structured, serious and reasonably long if presently slightly drying finish. This appears to have very good underlying material but I found the delivery to be somewhat disjointed though my rating offers the benefit of the doubt that this will eventually harmonize. With that said though, note well that this is a CSJ for the patient.
