2018 Vincent Girardin, Montrachet, 6x750ml

Pungent aromas are comprised by notes of menthol, phenolic nuances (think olive or nut oils), white orchard fruit, spice and plenty of citrus elements. The sleek, intense and tautly muscular big-bodied flavors possess outstanding focus, power and minerality while delivering excellent persistence on the balanced finish. Like the Bâtard, this is not an especially big Montrachet, but it is classy and very stylish and should age effortlessly for years.
