Very mild reduction can't completely suppress the beautifully elegant aromas of red currant, floral, spice and pungent earth aromas. There is a really lovely mouth feel to the equally mineral-driven and wonderfully refined medium-bodied flavors that possess terrific energy on the saline-inflected, balanced and superbly long finish. This harmonious effort is remarkably complex for such a young wine though note that the supporting tannins, while fine, are quite firm and this is going to require a lengthy stay in a cool cellar.
